An Update From The UTR Team

It’s been an amazing 18 months for UTR since we started running our pioneering club nights in London and around the country. As you know, it was our vision to bring you the first UTR On The Beach holiday – the first holiday of its kind for the 16-18 year old age group - this summer, on the Cornish coast. Unfortunately we’ve had some problems with the local authorities who have never worked with the 16-18 year old age group before, so were reluctant to let the holiday go ahead. This means that we’ve had to change our plans for 2010. UTR On The Beach will now go ahead in 2011 in a different, better location with the full cooperation of the local police and licensing authorities. Tickets for this will go on sale in January 2011.

This year, we are pleased to announce the first UTR Summer Break, a post A-Level holiday to Newquay, Cornwall for anyone 18 years old or over at the time of the holiday. This event will still feature huge UTR club nights, with the UK’s biggest acts on each of the 4 night. Tickets for this amazing event will be available from Thursday 1st April.

For those of our customers who were planning to attend the UTR summer holiday but will now not be old enough, we’re truly sorry for any disappointment caused. We had all the plans laid for an amazing trip, but they fell at the last hurdle in completely unforeseen circumstances, which is the hazard in creating something brand new like this. We massively value your custom and support and hope that instead we will see you at some of the exciting UTR club events that we have lined up over 2010 and that you will be a part of the first UTR On The Beach in 2011.   

Status Update

UTR would like to apologise for the delay in releasing tickets for the forthcoming UTR On The Beach holiday and for any confusion about the details of the holiday. We have had some logistical problems with the planned event and are working hard to resolve these in order to bring you an amazing post-exam holiday in the sun! Full details of UTR On The Beach 2010 will be released online at www.utronthebeach.com on Friday 26th March. We regret we are unable to answer any questions about the event until Friday 26th March. Bookings Delayed

Following a lot of requests and unprecedented demand we have delayed putting tickets on sale to allow groups time to get deposits together so that nobody misses out. We will now go on sale when we release the first acts on the line-up in approx 2 weeks. Please check back shortly for new on sale date. Make sure you book early and get your deposits together.

Under The Radar reclaiming the caravan

A week away in a caravan by the sunny seaside is as quintessentially English as winning at war and losing at Cricket. The Great British caravan holiday has had its image tarnished by trailer trash on welfare; so UTR is reclaiming the caravan in the most spectacular of fashion!

Under The Radar unveils UTR On the Beach

After a year of planning, UTR On the Beach 2010 has finally been launched. We can now confirm the dates will be the 27th June to the 1st July, immediately at the end of exams. After months of planning, plotting and negotiating we have finally managed to take UTR to the UK coast.

Following a crazy year of raves in London, Milton Keynes, Plymouth, Birmingham and Nottingham UTR is continuing to spread the love across the UK as we enter 2010.
